Terrible service from start to finish! Booked my mums husband in for one weeks stay and when he was dropped off all the staff were wearing masks and we were told (at the door) there was a virus within the home.(wasn’t told what virus it actually was) they said they had emailed to tell us about the virus but no email was received. Mums husband was practically room bound for 9 days with almost zero interaction! we were told that he would go to the pub one day, play games and interact with other people within the home, none of this happened! We specifically got him a room with a shower but they didn’t shower him once even though he asked to be showered. We asked for the reports from the nurses on duty at the time of his stay and we were told that weren’t available ( how convenient) We asked for a partial refund and was told point blank that no refund will be given! I would stay well clear of Barchester Northampton.

Well its been just over 2 months since my mother in law became a resident. My Wife and I watch things with eagle eyes having worked in care myself for many years, and my wife for almost 30 years. We look for standards, consistency, caring, environment and a whole host of other things. We visit ad hoc and can honestly say REALLY IMPRESSED. My mother in law is a different woman since becoming resident, she is engaged, happy, well fed, well cared for, warm and secure. Ok lets start. The environment is really comfortable, well kept, smells nice, and is welcoming. Residents rooms are of a lovely size and well kitted out, personal furniture can be brought in if preferred (except for the bed). We brought in Mother in Laws favourite reclining chair and a beer fridge for extra snacking. Drinks and cake are also available to the visitors on a help yourself basis at reception, and we are encouraged to partake. Enough about us though. The staff here are superb. All in uniform, which we like, and plenty of them on duty. Without exception, they are smiling, supportive, nothing is too much trouble, and any request is facilitated straight away. They actually like to care, and like those that they care for, it's just so obvious. Maintenance team is onsite so that, that needs to get done, does get done..no waiting. The support staff for laundry and cleaning are also really readily available, friendly, and do a great job to a high standard. The food is of a really really exceptional quality, menus are varied and beautifully presented daily on a lovely lecturn. If you don't like what is on offer then just tell the Chef what you would like and it will be provided. residents are encouraged to take meals in the beautiful dining room to further their social contacts, but they can also take meals in their room if they prefer. There is also a varied daily (Really varied) social activity calender. Not just indoor activities but plenty of excursion opportunities. There are also guest singers, guest Llamas ( yes the real animals), Pat Dogs and other options too numerous to mention. It really is a happy ship, and that is something that can only happen with the support and the right attitude to care, that comes from the management team. So to summarise ...if I ever am in the position where I need to become resident in a care home ..I would choose this one. Well done and Thank You to everyone at Collingtree Park

We have had a long-standing relationship with Collingtree Park care home as my aunt has been a resident for nearly 8 years and my father was a resident for just under two. We visited on Friday for my aunt’s birthday and were very impressed with the atmosphere of the place and the care being taken of the residents. My aunt looked as well as she has done for years, her hair and clothes, and happy and chatty. Everyone was engaged, out of their rooms in communal areas and involved in interactive activities. It is brilliant to see the improvements that have been made over recent months. Thank you particularly to the enthusiastic Skye and the rest of team, and to the chef for preparing a beautiful cake and creating a lovely visit for us; we were delighted thank you.

We visit the care home on a regular basis to test the residents eyes. We are always made to feel very welcome especially by the head administrator called Yvette. She isabsolutely wonderful and helps us immensely. All the care staff are amazing , and maintenance man always goes the extra mile. We would gladly recommend this home. Thank you

From our very first visit to Collingtree Park we knew this was the right place for my 93 yr old Dad to live. The first person we met was Yvette who could not have been more welcoming, friendly, supportive and knowledgeable - thank you so much Yvette. She has continued to help us since Dad moved in a few days ago. Following on from that first contact, every member of staff there has been simply brilliant! Thank you to Tom and Nikki for your diligence with your thorough assessment of his needs in advance of Dad's move and thank you to all the individual members of staff who's attitude and friendliness add to the great "buzz" of the place. Congratulations all at Collingtree Park - you've made a difficult time settling Dad immeasurably easier..... Kim and family

We are lucky enough to be able to provide entertainment at Collingtree Care Home (mum & daughter duo, Lesley Ann & Katie Rose) We are always made to feel so welcome by the lovely lady on reception. The staff are attentive and caring, ensuring to involve the residents and make sure everyone feels comfortable whilst we are there. Residents are well dressed and very engaging during the entertainment. We always look forward to our visits

Have visited this care home multiple times through work and care staff have always been very welcoming and friendly. From speaking to the residents, it is very clear they are very well looked after and happy here. Entertainment is fantastic and a variety of activities means that they are inclusive for all. The home is always clean and tidy and just generally has a nice atmosphere and feel to it.

The home has very high standards of care giving resident’s family’s peace of mind that their loved one is being treated with respect and dignity. The rooms are spacious and have en-suite facilities; residents are able to display family photographs and other precious momentoes. They have a good choice of menu to suit everyone. Plenty of stimulating activities for residents to participate at all levels of interest. Wonderful staff all dedicated to the care and well being of our loved ones.

My late mother was in this home for two years and our experience was so positive that we chose Collingtree Park again for my mother-in-law too. The staff genuinely care for our family members, and clearly for all other residents and families too. There is a strong community atmosphere which is inclusive, fun, patient and understanding. My mother-in-law is disabled however nothing is insurmountable. The staff and management work as a cohesive and respectful team. Their communication is second to none, within the home and with families. Thank you.
