Well looked after course, the facilities weren't 5 star witb how well the course is looked after it deserves a top review. This is also based on the price and the type of course you get to play on for that price.

Golf course was excellent as usual and this was our 4th time having a weekend away there however having booked our weekend in February and booking the buggies at a cost of £25 per buggy per day x 6 we went to pay for them on the day and was charged £30 each. When questioned and a copy of pricing shown we was given the excuse of oh well we have bought new buggies so it now the dearer price (no prior warning was given )

This is a fantastic course. I decided to head up to Northamptonshire this weekend to test out what was on offer. I was not disappointed. Collingtree is a delight, greens were absolutely on fire, fairways awesome. Lots of memorable holes with water galore. I played the front nine with a few members who explained the schedule of works that the course has recently undergone and the planned works ahead, it seems a lot is in store for Collingtree which can only be a benefit. Its a really good looking course, the modern club house sits opposite the island green of the par 5 18th. The course practice facilities are also great. Friendly staff were the cherry on the top, as far as Northamptonshire courses go I have only played two so far but I would say this is a course to rival many even outside of its county.

Stopped by The Watering Hole today for lunch and it was delicious. Friendly service. And I can't think of a better view than the 18th to have a bite to eat.

The course has improved drastically since it started being run by the members. We played on a very wet day on October 28th and the course was in good condition with very good greens for the time of year. The green keepers were working on the course while we played and took the time to stop works and asked what we thought to the course. It was clear they're proud of the works they've done so far and good to speak to happy staff proud of their works. Looking forward to next summer when the course will be back to number 1 in Northamptonshire!! 😁😁😁 Well done to the new club and course management and their teams!

A strong modern parkland flanked by water hazards and large houses. The course has a great set of par 3s, sloping greensite and about 60 bunkers. Collingtree is usually in good condition and I have heard the greens are improving. It plays quite short from the yellows at 6,227 yards and there are not many long par 4s. The best holes on the course are the 4th, 5th, 8th, 9th, 11th, 12th, 13th and 18th. I think this course could be a real challenge if they built or reinstated some championship tees. Nevertheless, the course is a good challenge and is playable too.
